Hess writes about Niemeyer’s appreciation for the Brazilian landscape, and having photos in the text to illustrate this is helpful- the scenery complements each home. By looking at multiple examples of homes that Niemeyer designed, it is easy to see that he didn’t follow specific guidelines when designing homes and that they evolved and changed as he grew as an architect.
