Initial post (at least 400 words) of thoughtful analysis):

• Find a recent case involving defamation, and address the following questions:

• Who are the parties to the dispute?
• What facts led to their dispute?
• Identify and discuss the legal issues involved.
• Has the case been resolved? If not, what do you expect will be the result?

Research Component/Full Sail Library:

* Use the Full Sail Library to research your defamation case and include at least two sources from your research in APA format. Some of the databases you can use include LexisNexis, EBSCO Host, etc. To access the Library resources, please follow these steps:

-Go to the FSO Library page by clicking on Organizations at the very top of your Connect dashboard (Organizations > Library). (Follow my red directions in the instructions attached.)

-Click on the Research Databases link towards the right of the page. (Follow my red directions in the instructions attached.)

-You will see a list of available databases offered by the library.

-Click any link.

-The link will direct you to a proxy server page where you will be asked to enter your Full Sail username and password. After entering your Full Sail username/password you will enter the database site. (The login information should be the same as I have previously given you. If not, please let me know.)

Response post (at least 100 words per response):

Review the Discussion Board Rubric, and respond your classmates’ posts, using the RISE model as your guide – Reflect, Inquire, Suggest, and Elevate. (The reply posts should be in a discussion format so as to create a conversation of sorts between me and the student that is being responded to.)

Discussion Due Dates and Guidelines

• Initial post must be at least 400 words
• Response post must be at least 100 words per response
• Any outside sources must be properly cited
• Check for spelling and grammar errors before uploading your posts
