The capability to predict performance, outcomes in organization settings, behaviors and attitudes for an organization is vital in driving both the success of the individual inside the organization and the success of the organization by ensuring the correct individual is completing the proper task at the correct time with the right skill set to complete the needs of the company (Ones, Dilchert, Viswesvaran, & Judge, 2007). The gathering of the skill set, aptitude, and knowledge of an individual through the administration of varying selection tools including interviews and tests to gather information regarding the proper placement of individuals in specific positions within an organization (Morris, Daisley, Wheeler, & Boyer, P. (2015). Additionally, the level of skill required to conduct a particular employment occupation also contributes greatly to the need for personality inventories, integrity assessments, and cognitive ability assessments to be utilized in the employee selection process, the greater the skill need to conduct the employment task the greater the need to apply inventories and assessments to candidates.
