Bob’s Small Time Grocery liked your proposed branding. Now they want to know about the next steps and overall design process. They are also curious how the site will work on a mobile device. The previous requirements did not mention supporting mobile devices, but you must discuss that in your process document.

For this assignment, you will provide a partial web design process document that is customized for this customer and outlines their next steps. The document will describe your use of user experience design, user interface design, and responsive design.

Technical Writing Guidelines:

Prepare a process document that will be 1-2 pages in length

Use a “12” point font (Arial or Times New Roman)

Use single-spaced lines instead of double-spaced

Use APA style citations for any references

Cite any information referenced from another source

Use correct sentence structure and grammar

Process Document Components:

First section called “Introduction”. Discuss the benefits of user experience design for a quality product. Include how user interface design can result in an interface that closely reflects the customer’s expectations.

Second section called “Research”. Discuss how interviews and prototypes provide value when gathering customer requirements and building the “right” product.

Third section called “Design”. Describe the main principles of responsive design. Discuss how responsive design can provide a consistent user experience across desktops and mobile devices. Also discuss how responsive design is more effective for the customer than mobile-first design.
