As a team, you should complete this assignment online in a collaborative venue with one team member acting as the scribe and filling in the spreadsheet while the team discusses and establishes what should be entered on the spreadsheet.

1) Select a type of company that you want to use as the basis for your projects (this just makes it easier to come up with projects

2) Brainstorm together and come up with at least four team project ideas, as I did on the example sheet
3) Enter those project names on the first sheet of the template, as I did on the example sheet
4) Create your own categories and weights by which to evaluate your projects, as I did on the example sheet
5) Establish and enter a weight for each project based on the categories, as I did on the example sheet
5) Create a formula, as I did on the example sheet, to sum the weighted criteria to get totals for each project.
6) Select your project based on the project with the highest weighted total and clearly mark that as your chosen project by highlighting it
7) Save the file and submit it here for grading. Note: I recommend that the scribe submits the file while the team is online so everyone is present for the complete assignment process. This eliminates the confusion as to who should submit. In other semesters, students rotate the scribe.
