Here are the instructions for this assignment:
Microsoft SQL Server is one implementation of SQL. It is a very powerful tool used by many organizations to support their operational and reporting/analytic needs. It contains many functions and features.
For this activity, write a 2-5 page paper that addresses the following:
- Identify one Microsoft SQL Server command or function that was not covered in this module’s material.
- Describe the command or function.
- Provide an example and explain how it works.
You are free to cite an example from other sources, but make sure that the example pertains to Microsoft SQL Server, not some other database management system. The Microsoft website contains extensive documentation on SQL Server.
Refer to the Module Exercises Rubric for grading criteria.
Note: The directions ask for one SQL Server command or function not covered. I would choose SqlLocalDB because I know it was not covered in this module.
