Here are the instructions for the assignment:

This is an open-book essay. Please answer all three questions in essay form. Each question is worth 100 points for a total of 300 points.

You are expected to provide three short essays demonstrating specific understanding of the theorists and concepts we have studied.

Your essay should be at least the equivalent of one double-spaced page and no more than two double-spaces pages.

Each essay must contain parenthetical citations from your textbook, at least, and my lesson notes and web resources are optional.

This is often identified as “moral reason.” How does reason and moral virtue in the political among Ancient Greeks appear in the moral reason and political thought of *one* of these thinkers: Locke, Rousseau or Kant? (Choose one)
What is J.S. Mill’s understanding of human nature (for example, individuality) and rationality in his approach to liberty?
How does John Rawls’ Theory of Justice carry forward the modern social contract theory while also drawing on Kant?
