I need this paper for two essay questions for different scholarships. The first essay question for one of the scholarships is Please describe your commitment to the success of underrepresented minorities and/or women. First I am a part of The Center for Women in Technology which is a community with a strong mission of increasing the representation of women in the creation of technology in the engineering and information technology fields. It can be hard to keep up with external engagements that aren’t related to classes during a busy school year but I’m passionate about community service and participating in a strong mission that matches with my beliefs. Talk about the things I mentioned above to answer the first question.

The second question is for another scholarship: Please write an essay about how you demonstrate a commitment to community service, education, and leadership. The question is kind of similar to the first question so you can use the info I gave you above to answer this question as well. For the commitment to community service part you can talk about my involvement in the CWIT community by being a k12 ambassador to encourage young girls from elementary through high school to pursue STEM careers as well as underrepresented minority groups. Leadership part you can talk about how being a k12 ambassador and helping young girls and underrepresented kids to pursue STEM careers demonstrates my commitment in leadership. Finally, to demonstrate my commitment for education you can talk about how I always work hard and how serious I am regarding my education. As a community college student I worked hard and made sure I got my associates degree with a really good GPA and even after I transferred to UMBC I’m still working hard towards my classes and I’m keeping up with a great GPA. I’m also committed to continue grad school at UMBC afterwards so you can mention that as well.
