Essay Requirements:

1. The final essay must be 1000-1500 words.
2. The essay should be typed, double-spaced, spell and grammar checked, and contain a word count at the end of the essay.

b) Before writing your essay, make sure to review the introduction, where Levine provides a detailed breakdown of the main argument for the entire book on pp. 14-16.

c) Use specific evidence or examples from the assigned reading to support your thesis.

d) Selectively use quotes. Instead, paraphrase information from the Levine book to support your thesis. However, when if you do use quotes, use SHORT quotes from the reading to support your thesis. Avoid block quotes of more than 2 lines.
