Lab:

Pick a condition/diagnosis and create a handout. Please include the following on the handout:

* Name and description of the condition

* Details of the condition

* Cause/ Reason for onset

* What ADLs and IADLs might be affected? Why?

* What type of setting would you (as a COTA) work with this patient?

* Suggest treatment interventions (activities) that would benefit this patient? Justify (See rubric for treatment specifications)

Handouts should be easy to read, colorful, have diagrams/pictures, and packed full of information. Think about what you would want to give to a client to inform theme about their diagnosis.
