The point of the journal is to consider how the marketing concepts you study in this course are being applied to an actual product by an actual firm.

Before you begin your Marketing Journal, you need an approved product (a good or a service). You are to propose three products that you want to use for your journal. Be as specific as possible. For example, instead of choosing a pick-up truck, choose a particular model and year. Post your three selections (along with an image of each) by the end of the first week of class. I will let you know which one of the three is approved to use for your marketing journal. Choose products of current interest or future relevance to you. It is acceptable to propose a product from your place of employment. As you consider the options, remember that all Marketing Journal entries will need to be focused on the same product.

Your Marketing Journal will be composed of a series of posts – each marketing concept will be represented by its own post.
