These are complex environmental science topics, and since you are studying this field, it is necessary to research your ideas and comments and back them up with citations and references. If you do not have references and citations via APA 6th edition format, your postings will be deducted points. The APA Style Guide is found on the Course Menu. As part of substantial participation efforts the following minimum is required for each discussion:

• APA style guide is used for all discussions and responses.
  • In-text citations and complete references
• 200 words is required for your initial posting.
  • Please check your spelling and grammar before you post to the forum in the Discussion Board
• Check for comments to your initial response and answer any questions or comments
• 100 words is required of each peer feedback posting you offer to your classmates
  • You must site your references here also, following the APA formatting.
• Offer feedback to at least two (2) of your classmates.
• Do not limit your responses to just one day of the week, go to the discussion board several times during the Lesson week and post to the threads of your classmates with valuable information that will extend the conversation in an academic manner.
  • Be respectful as you offer constructive, non-negative responses to your classmates.
  • Never use bad language. Even if it is normal for you, it is NOT allowed in this class.
