1. Both the Jackson chapter and the Slaughter journal article address the idea of a “shift” from two systems of criminal law – purely international and domestic law – toward one system. How does a system of transnational law evolve and how close do you think we are to having a unified system? What are some of the obstacles, especially in terms of getting domestic courts to adopt the laws?
