Effective team communication is achieved after many barriers like lack of coordination, ego clashes, people depending on just instructions from superiors than the practical analysis sometimes even accents in the language they speak. Communicating with only people who are comfortable in the team is also an issue that occurs on a frequent basis. Sometime not getting incentives or momentary awards might hurt a conservative mindset person and he/she might not be able to express everything they feel or work on. From a team leader prospective, a one-way communication would be major setback. Working from different viewpoints and right set of circumstances, that escalate the incident would work in team advantage or demise if not handled properly. For a high functioning team conflicts are healthy and constructive (Mattson, 2016).

Possible Biases: –

1. Horn Effect – any person whose decision/action is influenced by bad circumstances or negative incidents is categorized as a horn effect.

2. Halo Effect – this is the biasing effect in which a decision is made based on an impressive event so that they see the decision makers as of the same way as the influencers want to be.

3. Stereotyping Effect – the decision is made keeping people in mind with pre-assumed target groups. (Trakstar, 2016)

Point of Errors: –

1. Using inappropriate words while communicating in the team.

2. Use of inappropriate senders list that are not related to work.

3. Using general communication without reviewing adequacy of the communication.

4. Hanging together as a group when the team involves multiple traditional people (Witt, 2015)

Steps to resolve conflicts in workplace: –

1. The conflict must acknowledge to all the team members and managed to solve it by considered all the team people’s opinions and thoughts.

2. Discussing the impacts of conflicts to improve dynamics and conflicts

3. Involving all team to cooperate on the issue reduces staling of the incident where conflict raises

4. Agreeing to listen and communicate to all team and able to have open discussion if the team have multiple solutions to regain unity (MindTools, 2018).

4. Hold guided brainstorming sessions to fully visualize the points, implement and gain success (Kelly, 2014).
