B. Co 82nd

In B. Co 82ndAirborne Division I was a wheel vehicle mechanic maintenance support NCOIC who speacialized in conducting monthly sustainment training such as TTP’s and Recovery operations. Myself and four paratroopers who I was assigned was responsible for mentanence support of four companies within the 82ndBrigade Support Battalion. I also was responsible for a team of thirteen Soldiers in which I lead to conduct four separate logistics combat control missions such as recovering and conducting BDAR to facilitate all running logistic/ maintenance missions. Instructed low density training on Interactive Electronic Technical manuals to perform vehicle services weekly. I was responsible for over 239 pieces of rolling stock and bench stock that was valued over $25,000. Contributing to an end state of having 94 percent operational readiness.

B. Co 82ND

While in B. Co 82NDBrigade support battalion I was in the positin of a repair team leader. During this time we supported OIF 06-08 as unscheduled maintence maintaining over 239 pieces of rollingstock by troubleshooting, ordering parts, supervising and providing quality control for all maintence conducted by myself and my team. We also supported over eight successful recovery missions during this time by properly training my team on the proper procedures of recovery operations on up armored equipment that was exclusive to the OIF Theater operations mission.During this time I also was above to spearhead the turn in of unserviceable Class IV equipment valued at $150,000.

HSC, 1STSFG

My position in USASOC command was the Senior Mechanic for a forward deployed Special Forces Battalion I was responsible for 15 paratroopers, 200 pieces of standard and non standard equipment and $1.5 million dollars of tools and test equipment. One major accomplishment was finishing in the top 5 percent of my AM General course. I sat in a Shop Foreman position and was chosed over five other Sergents I also achieved retooling and revamping my entire shop with more up to date tooling systems. I held classes teaching every Soldier under me to repair non-conventional Special Operations equipment step by step by maunals. I also managed a repair parts POL facility ensuring all environmental standards exceeded expectations.

187thOrdnance Battalion

In 187thOrdnance battalion I certified as a Recovery Course instructor within the first four months I acquired over 200 hours of primary instruction time in which is exceeds TRADOC standards. I assisted in retrain operations for 9 trainees increasing their pass rate by 60-70 percent. I also instructed MTT at Fort Campbell, Kentucky certifying twenty four Soldiers on recovery operations and holding a class average of 98 percent. Trained one hundred and twenty six Soldiers to achiever first time go’s within two company field training excerises. Received Cadre of the cycle three consecutive cycles. Trained and mentored over 40 Soldiers to execute funeral honors. Reduced repair time by 50 percent improved unit readiness, I ensured proper risk management procedures were implemented and utilized, resulting in zero accidents during all FTX and instruction time. I also worked one on one with Soldiers/trainees showing difficulty in mastering and enhancing comprehension skills and technical knowledge.

D Co

While in D Co I assited and advised the platoon Sergent on health, welfare, and training matters within the platoon. My duties were to lead, supervise, counsel,and train 60 Soldiers through 10 weeks of intense training cycles. During this time I completed Master Fitness Trainer Course using my knowledge to able 90 percent of my platoon to pass the Army Physical Fitness test at or about the 60 percent standards. Assited in getting 256 Soldiers trained in Level 1 Combatives . Created instructional training courses that were condusive to all Soldiers consciously instilling all safety standards, individual responsibilities, and professionalism resulting in zero loss and responsibility.

B Co 173rd

I served as an automotive section Sergent of the 173rdBrigade Support Battalion this brigade was comprised of four units that are dispersed in two seperate installations. I handled scheduled and unscheduled maintence for over 430 wheel vehicles and support equipment while also managing the STANDARD ARMY MAINTENCE SYSTEM, SAFTEY OF USE MESSAGE, MANTINENCE ACTION MESSAGES.

HSC 7THMISB

Served as the Senior mechanic within the airborne regional Military Information Support Battalion I was responsible for the scheduled service and maintenance of 47 tactical vehicles, 16 trailers and one generator. Working under me I had one NCO and seven paratroopers and the accountability of over $750,000 of equipment during this time I maintained a readiness rate of 98.5% and I exceeded the Army Readiness standard by 8.5%. I also served as the BN Motor Sergeant in his absences constantly maintain the mission, I also was the primary instructor for the MACP training of HSC 7thMISB with my unit resulting in certifying 90 percent of the company. I also provided training, guidance, and mentorship three platoons for night airborne operations resulting to in 100% success and zero deficiencies. During this time my shop received commendable ratings on the Command Maintenece Discipline Program my shop received the highest rating withint the 1SFC battalion. I was selected to move the entire JISTF from CAS to AUAB as the surge joint information Support Task Force NCOIC. I also coordinated and trained 30 Soldiers as the Joint Information Support task Force Maintenance.I was also responsible for 510 pieces of rolling stock ground support equipment and weaponary.

B. CO, SPT BN, 1STSWTG (A)

Served as the group Maintence NCOIC of the 1stSpecial Warfare Training Group (Airborne) I was responsible for 6 NCO’s, 9 Soldiers and 9 civillian employees I was responsible for field maintenance on 480 tactical vehicles, trailers, generators, and generator sets along with 120 pieces of Special operation Forces (SOF) unique equipment valued over $85,000,000. I was responsible for two maintenance operations facilities. I was labeled as the subject matter expert I was able to create robust SOF boat maintenace program ensured 47 water crafts. I orchestrated a cross training events educating 10 paratroopers on maintenance and maintenance operations which increased productions in USAJFKSWCS. I also spearheaded the group maintenance to receive three commendable ratngs during FY17 SOCoe level inspections. I was also nominated by USASOC for FY17 AAME in which I lead the maintenance team to to first place in 1stGtr FY17 and SOCOE level. I replenished and stocked all combat spared with a total value of 1.2 million dollars. I ran all group level maintenance meetings by doing so I was able to increase readiness across the entire SWTG (A). I demonstrated strog knowledge on GCSS- A consumption analysis IOT revamp unit shop stock. I was able to reduce down time making SSL line deman based. I had a large hand receipt with multiple pieces of boat maintenance equipment in key west I was able to spear head several meetings and found solutions to any issues that may have come up during my missions. I had 27 successful recovery missions without injury over a 5000 mile radius. I taught safety policies and procedures to the standard by the book which enhanced my no injury record. I maintained a readiness rate of 98% ensuring the small groups small unit tactics could maintain a 95% readiness rate. I also managed and over seen the accountability of 122 pieces of marine boat equipment all while planning 387 critical scheduled services. I maintained 100 percent accuracy of SSL inventory and effectively managed 146 lines of Class IX valued at $1.1 million dollars.
