For your final project you will add the final advocacy plan to your final social change campaign project. This final component is intended for you to think holistically about how you would organize your campaign. It can summarize your previous milestones, but should also include additional thoughts and reflections as your thinking has continued to evolve. In this week’s final live session, you will then present highlights from your project and reflections on what you have learned.
First, review your work in the course, including the milestones you completed in Sessions 8, 10, and 12. Be sure to note all instructor feedback and take inspiration from some of the innovative strategies your peers have presented in class and on the discussion boards.
Next, write a 5–6 page final paper defining the issue to be addressed, identifying other campaigns that are engaged in this issue and describing the different elements of the advocacy plan. This advocacy plan should draw on the readings, class discussions, and theoretical frameworks discussed throughout the semester. You also will need to do considerable external research that is germane to your individual topic. You will conclude with a reflection on what supports are needed for your tactics to achieve success.
The following critical elements must be addressed:
Refer to—and build upon—your three milestones to support this final advocacy plan. Refer also to your other assignments, course resources, and your own research to support your responses.
This assignment is due at 11:59 p.m. CST the evening before our next live session.
*I will send the first 3 papers that were written to incorporate my ideas from as mentioned in the directions but my previous exact words are NOT to be used in this paper.
