These apps look pretty cool if you ask me! The app I chose to do my discussion on that integrates with InDesign is Adobe Capture. Adobe Capture is basically an app that can turn your images into unique portions for your designs, using a vector converter. The converter allows the user/artist to turn pictures into color patterns, type, materials, brushes, and shapes. With this app, you may capture color and light from anything, make your work beautiful with filters, generate textures from an image to apply them to 3D objects, snap photos of fonts to use later as well as be recommended similar fonts, create brushes, create vector shapes, and capture and edit color themes. You can then bring these assets into your favorite desktop and mobile apps (Adobe, 2019).I could bring the two together by using my designs created in Adobe Capture to InDesign, using endless options to make fantastic magazines, books, flyers, posters, and everything in between. Being able to capture any font with the app can come in handy, possibly making anyone’s work stand out even more! The type of project that I could and would create using the two programs would be a comic book!I have a feeling that this app is a great app to use in this industry; its creative and convenient. You can also connect Capture to the creative Cloud libraries so they can always be accessible at any time.
I chose Adobe comp app to research. “The Adobe Comp mobile app is designed to provide users with a tool for creating a mock-up or comp of a project easily and intuitively on a mobile device”. (Chad Chelius). The way it works is that you could be meeting with a client and discussing an up coming project so instead of bringing out a laptop you can use a tablet and start designing a rough draft of what you will be doing in the project. This method can help break down the barriers between you and the client. Also say your ready to start designing your project but your on the go you can be anywhere and bring out your tablet and start designing your project. This way you do not have to be at home or in an office. To create a new project is simple Once you’ve installed Adobe Comp on your device, fire it up and click the + sign in the lower-right corner to create a new project. You’ll be asked to choose a format for the first document in the project. There are many formats and sizes to choose from including sizes for print, web, mobile devices, as well as social media. You can also create a custom size at any time.” ( Chad Chelius). By using the Adobe Comp you can easily sit with a client and with nothing but your finger you can draw a rough draft with the client right next to you or maybe move things around on the board and get the clients approval or denial of the project right then so it can help take out a lot of the guess work. I believe this app is a great tool to use in this industry you are able to use it anywhere and at at the same time you can be with the client and show what ideas you have come up with. I believe this app will be around for a long time. Anyone who uses it will be very happy with it and with what it does and how much easier your job will be. This app can make your life a lot easier.
