Hi got be 350 words

Hope, belief, and faith all play big roles in Elie Wiesel’s Night. In this first section of the book, Wiesel is a devout young man who is interested in studying Jewish mysticism. Against his father’s wishes, he becomes a student of the quirky Moishe the Beadle. Soon, however, Moishe is expelled from Sighet with all the other foreign Jews, only to come back and warn Wiesel and his community of what was about to happen to them.

Why did no one in Sighet believe Moishe the Beadle? Why did Wiesel and his family stay in Sighet when the rumors of the Nazis start? Why didn’t they leave when the ghetto was formed? Why didn’t Wiesel himself leave when his father gave him the opportunity to go before they were taken?

It is, of course, easy for Wiesel and for us as readers to look back and see what they did wrong, but why did they believe they were doing the right thing by staying? Can you point to any evidence in the text as rationale? And also, what do you think you would have done in this situation?
