I come from Brownsville, Texas. This is a hispanic community found on the western Gulf Coast in South Texas, adjacent to the boarder with Matamoros, Mexico. My community has a vast of strengths compared to weaknesses. Brownsville has several key events of the American Civil War, such as the Battle of Brownsville and the Battle of Palmetto Ranch, this city was also involved in the Texas Revolution as well as the Mexican American War.
